Welcome to Stock Cop

Stock Cop is an "on-line" database of used books for sale by ICBA members. The database is shared among several college bookstores in the United States and Canada. The goal of Stock Cop is to allow bookstores to maximize the return on used books that are no longer used at their institution.

Instead of writing off your obsolete used books or selling them to a wholesaler below cost, you can advertise the books in Stock Cop and set your price. If another bookstore needs a used book, they can search Stock Cop to see if it is available and then can purchase it from your bookstore.

To get started, email Jason Lockwood and request an account. Please include your name and institution in the email. Once you receive your account, access Stock Cop from the link below. Please note, in order to minimize confusion, it is recommended that each bookstore request only one account.
