What does this mean to you, the vendor? ICBA programs have a long history
of strong buyer support. ICBA owners are committed to the success of their
cooperative. ICBA's core business is the creation of cooperative retail
solutions for our owners.
Bookstores Profit
ICBA is not a vendor. We are a non-profit, mutual benefit corporation. All
of the savings (discounts, rebates, concessions, etc.) we achieve go toward
the success of our member bookstores. Your incentives reach your customer.
A Level Playing Field
ICBA makes every effort to provide a "level playing field" for
vendors to compete. We want you to be considered on the merits of your
proposal. The ICBA process is to inform vendors of how and why we make our
decisions, because the better we communicate with vendors, the more
competitive you become.
Direct Vendor-Buyer Relationships
ICBA programs are designed to maintain and enhance direct vendor-buyer
connections. Buyers meet with, order, take receipt, and pay directly with
you, the vendor. Our goal is to improve this relationship, not to obstruct
it.
Institutional Stores Exclusively
ICBA remains the only organization in the college store industry dedicated
exclusively to institutional stores. Bookstores sharing success since 1927.
ICBA - Open For Business
You can be part of
this success. Currently, ICBA has a membership of over one hundred
four-year and two-year institutional bookstores. ICBA stores serve a
combined FTE of over one million students, with sales exceeding three
