Independent College Bookstore Association

 

A new partnership between Independent College Bookstore Association and Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing, Inc. (ECRM®) is taking collegiate retail events to a superior level.

 

Independent College Bookstore Association’s goal is to evolve and grow PRIMEtime into a year-round business process through its new ECRM® partnership. In the coming years ICBA expects to increase the number of store attendees, include more product categories, extend the number of business days, and incorporate ECRM® eFusion™ and MarketGate™ Application Suite software tools in all categories.

 

The first joint venture is ICBA 2008 PRIMEtime Apparel, Backpack & Imprinted Gifts. In coming years other product categories such as school and office supply, technology, and textbooks will incorporate advantages from the ICBA and ECRM® partnership.

 

PRIMEtime becomes year-round

The ICBA and ECRM® partnership makes PRIMEtime a powerful planning process for stores and vendors by providing ECRM® eFusion™ and MarketGate™ software to participants. This year, the apparel, backpack, and imprinted gift buyers and vendors registered for ICBA 2008 PRIMEtime or PowerHall receive an ECRM® eFusion™ and MarketGate™ license for one year. Vendors and buyers use the software year-round to

• schedule and review PRIMEtime meetings

• maintain and save contact information

• communicate through a closed email system with bulk and individual emails

• take and share notes

• review and share product data and images

• conduct market and ad research

While desktop software runs solely on a user’s computer and web-based programs run entirely over the internet, eFusion™ and MarketGate™ tools combine elements of both to make marketing and sales easy.
