Invitation to Negotiate Process

The Independent College Bookstore Association invites vendors to submit proposals and price quotations for ICBA Buying Programs. To receive an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN), please ask to be added to the ICBA  ITN Contact List. When we release the ITN for your product category, ICBA will provide you with forms, necessary information and guidelines about submitting your complete Buying Program Proposal.

Invitation to Negotiate (ITN)
Vendor Proposals generally include the following:
  • Proposal including products price list with “Regular Price” and “ICBA Price”
  • ICBA Terms and Conditions
  • ICBA Vendor Pricing Policy
  • Customer Service & Contact Information 
  • Co-operative Advertising Program 
  • ICBA Program Support Plan in which you detail your level of support for ICBA and submit a response to our minimum 1% rebate plan

Please note Apparel, Backpacks and Supply categories each have two applicable forms.

Proposals are also accepted by fax. If you fax your proposal, also send a hard copy to arrive within two days via mail: Postal, Ground or Overnight Delivery Services.
