ICBA Education

Outstanding industry education is available for current ICBA Members via webinars, on-demand video & Conference presentations. From peer-to-peer sharing to vendor partner insights, chosen topics will strengthen your goals, help you gain competitive insights and stay ahead of the curve.

ICBA Webinars
ICBA Webinars cover the most important trends and challenges in the industry. To view past webinars or learn about upcoming sessions, visit the ICBA Webinars page. Webinars are for ICBA Members only.

ICBA Insitututes
ICBA Institutes – intensive courses of study that expose participants to the latest thinking and best practices in specific disciplines – have been widely recognized as the gold standard in college store industry education. The Institute format involves multiple sessions with an emphasis on connecting theory to practice, while combining strategies with tactics. ICBA conducts in-person Institutes immediately preceding the ICBA Conference each February.

ICBA Online Institutes
ICBA has expanded Institute programming to include “Online Institutes” via a series of one-hour webinars. Each webinar in an Online Institute can stand alone, however, the full value is realized by participating in the entire series. ICBA Online Institutes recognize that many ICBA Members have limited travel capabilities or may actually prefer the extensive curriculum to be delivered over several weeks. ICBA Online Institutes also enable multiple associates in each store to participate and learn.

The first of the ICBA Online Institutes was launched in the Fall of 2017 and was titled: “Managing Your Most Important Resource,” a four-part series examining key issues of Human Resources management in the college store industry. Our second Online Institute, taking place in May/June 2018, is a four-part series that focuses on Visual Merchandising.
